Director Of Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion at MiQ

Sirajah Raheem, MPH has a comprehensive work experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Sirajah is currently serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at MiQ since January 2023. In this role, they contribute to the financial performance, strategic planning, marketing and branding narrative, and cultural initiatives of the company with global leaders across markets. Sirajah also ensures employee safety through the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs on active allyship, respectful behaviors, and bystander intervention.

Prior to their current role, Sirajah worked as the Global Senior Manager of Inclusion and Diversity at MiQ from November 2020 to January 2023. In this position, they also served on the Global Operational Board and played a key role in integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into various aspects of the company's operations. Sirajah coordinated the launch and integration of the Vault misconduct reporting app and managed its day-to-day operations across five regions.

Before joining MiQ, Sirajah founded Groundsheet in June 2020, where they were involved in various projects and initiatives. Sirajah has also gained experience in the field of sexual misconduct prevention and response through their role as a Victim Resource Specialist and Prevention Educator at the Project Safe Center for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response, Vanderbilt University from June 2014 to November 2015.

Furthermore, Sirajah has held positions at Alteristic, Inc. as a Campus Technical Assistance Specialist from November 2015 to June 2020, HOUSING JUSTICE LEAGUE INC. as a Communications Coordinator and Community Organizer from March 2014 to May 2014, DeKalb Rape Crisis Center as a Volunteer Crisis Center Advocate and Hotline Responder from September 2010 to January 2014.

Sirajah'searlier work experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at the Jane Fonda Center for Adolescent Reproductive Health in June 2013, a Research Assistant at Georgia State University from 2012 to 2013, a Teaching Fellow at Capital City Public Charter School from August 2008 to July 2009, and a Program Coordinator for Intercultural and Interracial Community at Berea College from August 2006 to January 2008.

Sirajah Raheem, MPH completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Georgia State University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from Berea College between 2003 and 2008.

Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications in addition to their formal education. In October 2015, they received the Sexuality Education Training from Planned Parenthood of Middle & East Tennessee, Inc. In July 2014, they became a Green Dot etc. Instructor through Green Dot, et cetera, Inc. Additionally, they earned the Water Safety Instructor certification from the American Red Cross in May 2013. Sirajah completed a course called "Contraception: Choices, Culture and Consequences" on Coursera in March 2013.
