Vishal Shah has extensive experience in analytics and media solutions. Vishal currently works at MiQ as a Solutions Lead, where they are responsible for leading ANZ Analytics & Product solutions for clients and internal teams. Their role also involves managing data partnerships and integrations, developing solutions around media performance and automation, and working closely with commercial and account teams to identify client opportunities.
Prior to their current role, Vishal worked at MiQ Digital India, where they launched and led the APAC business analytics team as the Lead - Media Analytics, APAC. Vishal collaborated with market, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure strategic project delivery and was responsible for the team's career growth and development.
Vishal also worked as a Senior Campaign Analyst and Campaign Analyst at MiQ Digital India, where they solved problems using media, CRM, and real-time macro data sources. Vishal led analytics projects, set up diversified workstreams, and managed analytics delivery for the UK Analytics team.
Before joining MiQ, Vishal worked at Mu Sigma as a Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst, where they gained experience in business analysis.
Additionally, Vishal has worked as a writer for various organizations, including The Score Magazine, Festival Sherp, and Indian Music Revolution.
Vishal Shah obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Vishal has pursued several certifications. Vishal completed the TESOL Certificate, Part 1: Teach English Now! course offered by Arizona State University through Coursera in January 2018. Prior to this, they earned the Teach English Now! Lesson Design and Assessment certification (December 2017), the Teach English Now! Theories of Second Language Acquisition certification (November 2017), and the Teach English Now! Foundational Principles certification from Arizona State University (July 2017), all of which were also obtained through Coursera. Vishal expanded their knowledge in linguistics and language through the Summer School in Language & Linguistics course offered by Leiden University Centre for Linguistics in July 2016. Vishal further gained understanding in the field by completing the Introduction to Linguistics course provided by Leiden University through Coursera in May 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Google AdWords Certification in Search Advertising from Google in April 2017 and completed the Introduction to Classical Music course offered by Yale University through Coursera in May 2017.
