Niel Viljoen serves as the CEO of Mira Security since January 2020 and holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Founder at Netronome since July 2013, also serving as Chief Development Officer at Netronome Systems since August 2003. Netronome Systems specializes in the development and sale of Network Flow Processor Silicon and related flow processing platforms, enabling customers to achieve scalability in their designs. Prior to these roles, Niel Viljoen was the CTO at Marconi from 1999 to 2001 and served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Service Provider Business Unit at FORE Systems from 1996 to 1999, focusing on ATM network solutions. Niel Viljoen's earlier experience includes a directorial position at the CSIR from 1986 to June 1995.
