Sherri Allen

Sherri Allen has extensive experience in the fields of education and performing arts. As an Associate Faculty member at MiraCosta College since 2007, Sherri teaches courses tailored for older adults, such as "Improving Awareness Through Improvisation" and "The Impact of Radio on our Lives." In 2011-2012, Sherri was recognized as the Outstanding Associate Faculty Member, being the first noncredit faculty member to receive this honor. Additionally, Sherri serves as a wedding officiant for Uniting All Couples In Love since 2001 and works as a private acting coach. Previous roles include teaching theatre arts at Granite Hills High School and conducting workshops for the Wounded Warrior Project. Sherri's acting experience spans several productions with established theater companies. Sherri holds a BA in Drama/Theatre Arts from San Diego State University and further training from institutions such as Florida State University and the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
