Scott Rasmussen

Scott Rasmussen, MD, currently serves as Senior Director of Early Clinical Research at Mirador Therapeutics, overseeing medical monitoring for Phase 1 pharmaceutical studies since September 2025. Prior to this role, Scott held various significant positions, including Principal Investigator and Site Medical Director at Celerion, and Vice President of Medical Research for Early Clinical Development at IQVIA, where responsibilities included sponsor interaction, feasibility evaluations, and trial safety reviews. Scott began a career in primary care as a physician at Lincoln Internal Medicine Associates and the Lincoln Veterans Administration Hospital, where leadership roles included serving as Chief of Primary Care Service. Scott earned an MD from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
