Kazuyuki Shudo

Kazuyuki Shudo is an accomplished academic and industry professional currently serving as the Director for the Information Processing Society of Japan since June 2023, and as a Technical Advisor at GMO Internet Group, Inc. since July 2022. With extensive experience in project management at the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan, Kazuyuki Shudo has led initiatives under both the MITOU Advanced Program and the MITOU Program since 2009. Additionally, Kazuyuki holds a professorship at Kyoto University and mentors at MIRAISE, a venture capital firm focused on programmer founders. Past roles include Directorship at GMO Internet Foundation, an Associate Professorship at Tokyo Institute of Technology, and various research positions at esteemed institutions. Kazuyuki Shudo earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Waseda University, where studies were conducted from 1992 to 2001.
