Mohamad Kharboutly

Mohamad Kharboutly is currently serving as the R&D Team Leader - Computer Vision Specialist at Mirametrix since February 2016. In the past, Mohamad worked as a Research Assistant at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) where Mohamad was involved in developing a stereoscopic 3D vision-based tele-ophthalmology platform. Prior to that, Mohamad was an Assistant Professor at Lebanese International University, where Mohamad prepared courses, coordinated courses, and provided student guidance. Mohamad's earlier years were spent as a Research Engineer at Université de Franche-Comté, where Mohamad worked on a dielectrophoresis-based microsystem and micro robotic control using computer vision. Mohamad holds a PhD in Control System from Université de Franche-Comté, a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from école centrale de Nantes, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Lebanese University.
