Charlie Jones

Charlie Jones, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience in the medical and research fields. Charlie is currently serving as a Regional Medical Affairs Director at Mirati Therapeutics since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Astellas Pharma US as a Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison - Oncology from September 2021 to November 2022, and as a Senior Medical Science Liaison, Oncology from June 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Astellas Pharma US, Charlie worked at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, where they held various roles as a Scientist. Charlie served as a Scientist III from February 2019 to May 2019, Scientist II from March 2016 to January 2019, and Scientist from October 2013 to March 2016.

Charlie'searlier experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Huntsman Cancer Institute from June 2012 to June 2013, where they focused on understanding dysregulated signaling mechanisms in colorectal cancers. Charlie also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from June 2005 to January 2012, conducting molecular cellular and biochemical analyses. Prior to that, they started their career as a Technologist at ARUP Laboratories from April 2004 to June 2005, where they performed diagnostic assays for immunologic deficiencies.

Charlie Jones, Ph.D., completed their education at the University of Utah, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biochemistry from Westminster University. Charlie pursued further specialization at the University of Utah, graduating with a Ph.D. in Biology in 2012.
