Hirak Der-Torossian MD MPH has extensive experience in the medical field, with a focus on clinical development. They held various positions at Mirati Therapeutics, starting as a Medical Director in December 2015, and progressing to Senior Medical Director, Executive Medical Director, and currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Development. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Vermont, Department of Surgery, where they served as the Clinical Research Director and Adjunct Faculty. They also worked at the University of Vermont, College of Medicine as the H&N Cancer Research Manager and J Walter Juckett Postdoctoral Fellow. Their early career includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Department of OHNS.
Hirak Der-Torossian MD MPH completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at the American University of Beirut from 2000 to 2003. Following that, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the same institution. In 2008 to 2009, Hirak Der-Torossian furthered their education by attending The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Public Health.
