James C. Durrah II

James C. Durrah II has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and media. James C. began their career as an Adjunct Professor at Georgia Highlands College in 2016 and also worked as a Consultant in Digital Marketing at Shaw Industries during the same period. In 2017, they founded their own company, PEARLific Creative Solutions LLC, where they served as the Owner and Principal Consultant until 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Account Supervisor at Matlock adpr and as an Executive Producer at Digital Reveries Media, LLC from 2017 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Associate Director of Communications at Prosperity Now and worked as the Communications & Media Relations Manager at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) in 2018. In 2020, they joined Miriam's Kitchen as the Director of Communications and later became the Chief Communications Officer in 2021. James C. is currently an Adjunct Faculty member at Simmons University, teaching Communications.

James C. Durrah II has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University. James C. also holds a Master of Arts degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University. In addition, they have a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University, with a field of study in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.
