Ronan Hayes has been working in the engineering field since 2012. Ronan began as an Intramural Soccer Referee at Cal Poly State University in 2012, and was an Intern at the Miami Dolphins the same year. In 2013, they were a Summer Intern at Assay Biotech, where they purified antibodies from animal serum using affinity chromatography, measured protein concentrations of purified antibodies using Bradford Assay, compiled and analyzed data in Microsoft excel, and prepared solutions to correct molarity and pH. The following year, they returned to Assay Biotech as a Research, Production and Quality Intern, where they maintained cell cultures and harvested cells from five different cell lines, produced reagents for Assay kits and R&D experiments, and manufactured Assay kits in compliance with ISO guidelines. In 2015, they became a Mechanical Engineer at XimedicaDx, and in 2017, they moved to Specific Diagnostics as a Mechanical Engineer. Since 2019, they have been working as a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Miroculus.
Ronan Hayes attended Los Gatos High School from 2005 to 2010, and then went on to earn a BS in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2010 to 2014.
