Johann Fourgeaud

Johann Fourgeaud has a strong background in investment management and sustainable development. Johann started their career at CIRAD, where they worked as a Chargé d'études on research projects related to the palm oil industry in Indonesia and Malaysia. Johann then moved on to work as a Chargé de portefeuille développement rural at Agence Française de Développement, where they managed rural development projects. Following this, they joined Fonds Afrique de Garrigue as a Chargé d'investissements solidaires, responsible for investment management. Johann then worked at FADEV as a Chargé d'Affaires en Capital Investissement Solidaire, where they conducted due diligence on local companies, provided strategic and technical support to the portfolio, and launched an equity crowdfunding website. Johann then joined Incofin Investment Management as an Investment Manager Agriculture, focusing on the FairTrade Access Fund and AgRIF. Currently, Johann is working at Mirova as an LDN Fund Investment Director, specifically focusing on natural capital, agriculture, and conservation projects.

Johann Fourgeaud began their education in 2003 at ISTOM, where they pursued a degree in Ingénieur en Agro Développement International until 2008. In 2008, they briefly attended Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, where they completed a Master 2 in techniques financières et bancaires. In 2017, they enrolled in the Technology Learning Center (TLC) web-based learning program at The Nature Conservancy - ConservationTraining.org, specializing in Ressources naturelles et conservation, which they completed in 2018.
