Ryan Martin is the Deputy Managing Editor at Mirror Indy, where Ryan utilizes data journalism in their beat and investigative reporting. With a background as an Investigative Reporter and Criminal Justice Reporter at The Indianapolis Star, Ryan covered police, prosecutors, and criminal courts with a focus on crime policy and policing strategy. Prior to that, Ryan held editorial positions at The Elkhart Truth and Patch.com. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism in Convergence Journalism, and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School.
