Andrea Goldstein

Andrea Goldstein has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrea currently holds the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a role they assumed in February 2020. Prior to that, Andrea worked at AbbVie from 2013 to 2020, where they held various scientific director positions in oncology, immunology, and global medical affairs. Andrea also worked at Onyx Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Medical/Scientific Lead from 2009 to 2013, and at Astellas Pharma as a Senior Scientific Liaison from 2007 to 2009. Earlier in their career, Andrea held scientific liaison positions at Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and Cedars-Sinai hospital. Andrea began their professional journey as a Clinical RN II at UCLA Health, where they gained experience in critical care nursing, specifically in liver and heart/lung transplant ICUs.

Andrea Goldstein holds a doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University (2017-2019). Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in Nurse Practitioner (NP) from California State University, Los Angeles (2005-2007). Andrea also obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) from UCLA (2000-2002), and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato (1990-1994). In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a National Board Certification in Adult Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nursing Credentialing Center in December 2021.
