Jim Pierson

Jim Pierson serves as the Dean of the College of Business at Misericordia University since June 2022, focusing on enhancing academic and career opportunities for students. Prior to this role, Jim held various positions at Chatham University, where responsibilities included Chair and Program Director for the Business & Entrepreneurship Department and teaching accounting and finance courses. Jim's extensive background in finance includes leadership roles as VP & CFO of ENTACT, Controller at Westinghouse Electric Company, and various senior finance positions at The Shaw Group and Stone & Webster, among others. Educational qualifications include a JD from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law, an M.S. in Taxation from Robert Morris University, and a B.S. in Accounting and Management from Youngstown State University.
