AMAN VIRMANI

Aman Virmani has worked in various roles throughout their career. In 2021, they joined Miso Robotics as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Maryland from 2019 to 2020, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the fields of Medical Imaging, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. At the university, their research focused on machine learning-enabled biomarker discovery and sensing for tackling chronic pain, as well as analyzing Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MSI), proteomic, lipidomic, and RNA sequence data. From 2017 to 2019, Aman worked at Samsung India as a Senior Engineer, specializing in Image Sensor IC Layout Design. AMAN also briefly worked at Interra Systems in 2016 as an Image Processing (Computer Vision) Engineer, and at Technology Uncorked in 2015 as a Robotics Engineer, where they specialized in electrical and embedded software.

Aman Virmani completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in the years 2013-2017. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Engineering in Robotics from the University of Maryland from 2019-2021. In addition to their formal education, Aman obtained various certifications in the field of deep learning and machine learning from Coursera, including Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
