Alison Crawford Archer is an experienced legal professional with a focus on regulatory compliance and litigation, currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Compliance and Regional Director of State Regulatory Affairs at Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) since January 2017. Alison's diverse background includes roles as an Assistant General Counsel at Xcel Energy, where management of regulatory litigation and strategic legal advice was provided, and as Senior Counsel at Bowman and Brooke, overseeing complex multi-district litigation. Prior experience includes positions at the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, Leonard, Street and Deinard, CHS, and the National Futures Association, along with teaching as an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law from August 2005 to May 2019.
