Miss Asian Global Pageant
Rose Chung has a diverse work experience. In 1980, they started working as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Trauma Hospital. In 1985, they founded the Miss Asian Global Pageant and in 2001, they became a Legislative Aide at the City and County of San Francisco. In 2008, they became the Chairman of the Board of Directors at APA Family Support Services. In 2014, they founded the Asian America Foundation and Imagine Talks, where they served as a Founder and Co-Founder respectively. In 2019, they became the President of the Jung Family Association.
Rose Chung attended San Francisco State University from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Communication.

Founded by Rose Chung, the Miss Asian Global Pageant has been the premier event in Asian American community for the past three decades and the longest running Asian American pageant in the United States. From our humble beginnings in 1985 with the Asian American Arts Festival, our event has expanded to an internationally recognized event with regional competitions nationwide.
