Missio Nexus
Michael VanHuis currently serves as the Executive Director at Missio Nexus, a position held since September 2015, where responsibilities include facilitating collaborative action and enhancing mission effectiveness for churches and organizations within the association. Prior to this role, Michael held several positions including Vice President and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Missio Nexus. Additional experience includes serving as a Philanthropic Advisor at Tru Needs, Inc., where new domestic and global projects were identified for funding, and as Executive Vice President at OneWay Ministries, overseeing strategy and development for partnerships and church planting initiatives. Michael's career also includes a tenure as Global Advancement Officer at Pioneers, focusing on connecting high capacity individuals to global projects. Educational credentials include an MA in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Hope College.
