William Hyun

William (Bill) Hyun possesses over twenty-five years of experience in laboratory medicine, currently serving as the Director of the Lab for Advanced Cytometry (LAC) and the Sony Biotechnology Center at UCSF. In addition to a long tenure as a scientist at UCSF, Bill holds various influential roles including Venture Partner at Genoa Ventures, Board Member and Co-Founder of Fluent BioSciences Inc., and Board Member for several biotechnology firms such as Slingshot Biosciences and Akadeum Life Sciences, Inc. Bill has also served as a Scientific Advisor and Investor for multiple companies, contributing expertise in genomic technologies and innovative solutions for healthcare challenges. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biochemistry from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
