John Richardson is an experienced professional with a diverse background. John currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance at Mission Clean Energy, where they are responsible for financial strategy, M&A, capital raising, and financial operations oversight. Prior to this, they served as an Investment Director & Co-Founder at Acadia Infrastructure Capital.
John also has a strong background in business development and investor relations. John worked at CRC-IB as a Director of Business Development & Investor Relations, where they played a key role in providing banking and advisory services to institutional investors and corporations. John also held positions as Vice President of Business Development & Investor Relations and Investment Banking Associate at the same company.
Earlier in their career, John worked at CohnReznick Think Energy as an Analyst, where they solicited and analyzed financial models for power projects and assisted in the development of a solar PV array proposal. John also served as President of The George Washington University Student Association, overseeing the allocation of funds to student organizations and advocating for student interests.
Prior to that, John gained experience as an Intern/Summer Associate at Goddard Claussen Public Affairs, working on new business contracts, strategy sessions, and public opinion research.
Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in finance, investment, business development, and leadership.
John Richardson attended Cheverus High School from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a diploma. John then went on to study at The George Washington University School of Business from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Business, Economics, and Public Policy (BEPP). In addition to their formal education, John also obtained certifications in the financial industry, including the Series 63, Series 82, and Series 79 exams, all in the year 2014.
