Haemin Lee Ph.D. is an experienced leader in mission and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of World Hunger for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since June 2023. Previously, Haemin held the position of Senior Director of Church and Community Engagement at World Relief from June 2022 to June 2023, and served as Head of Staff: Senior Pastor/Moderator of Tampa Bay Presbytery at Village and St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and Generations Christian Church from October 2018 to June 2022. Additional roles include Regional Director at Frontier Fellowship, Global Mission Network Catalyst/Coordinator at Presbyterian Church (USA) Headquarters, and International Development and Operations Senior Advisor at Food for the Hungry International Korea. Academic credentials include a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Harvard University and Emory University respectively, a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies and International Development from Emory University, an Executive Leadership credential from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Psychology from Yonsei University.
