Nick Burrell

Nick Burrell has extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Nick currently works at Mission Labs as an Engineering Director, where they have held various roles including Principal Software Engineer, Technical Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. At Mission Labs, Nick has been involved in notable projects such as delivering a multi-channel messaging platform for a large company and creating an emergency pandemic-proof contact solution for Sainsburys.

Prior to Mission Labs, Nick worked at FLG as a Javascript Developer, where they focused on bringing value to customers through the development of complex projects. Nick also worked at Urban Green_ as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for creating in-house project and file management software and contributed to the University of Manchester's Interactive Tree Trail project.

Nick's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at OTSYS, where they developed a data management application using C# .NET, WPF, and an SQL database hosted on Microsoft Azure. Additionally, they co-founded sCon, a popular third-party game administration software, where they were involved in marketing, support, and feature generation.

Nick Burrell obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester from 2013 to 2017. In addition, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022.
