Daniel Earthy

Daniel Earthy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel started their career as a Line Service Technician at Toronto Airways in 2010. Daniel then worked as a Sales Representative at Savage Aircraft Canada, where they showcased products at air shows and designed the company website. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Bilingual Transfer Agent at Fidelity Investments, responsible for administrative services and participating in interface design.

Daniel then transitioned to a Marketing Technology Consultant role at Couch & Associates, Inc. from 2012 to 2013, working with clients such as NetApp and Cisco to optimize marketing strategies. Following this, they served as a Product and Marketing Consultant at Carta Worldwide in 2013, focusing on branding and developing marketing materials.

In 2014, Daniel started their own company, working as a Web Application Developer. Daniel specialized in frontend JavaScript frameworks and collaborated with various clients and startup projects.

Starting in 2015, Daniel worked at LendUp as a Software Engineer and later transitioned to a Senior Software Engineer role. At Mission Lane, they held several positions including Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and Engineering Manager. Currently, Daniel serves as the Director of Software Engineering at Mission Lane.

Daniel Earthy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Concordia University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Dalhousie University from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and French. In 2013, Daniel attended Dev Bootcamp to study Web Development. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Commercial Pilot / Multi IFR from the FAA and Transport Canada, as well as an Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
