Marco Montenegro

Marco Montenegro is the Director of Patient Services at Mission Neighborhood Health Center. Prior to their current role, Marco served as the Director of Excelsior Works!, an organization that helps individuals and families in the Excelsior neighborhood achieve economic security. Marco has also worked as a Capacity Builder for Black Mountain Consulting. In this role, they helped nonprofit organizations build their capacity to better serve their communities.

Marco is passionate about helping others and has dedicated their career to working with underserved populations. Marco is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need to lead healthy and successful lives.

Marco Montenegro has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from San Francisco State University. Marco also has a certificate from the Nonprofit Management Institute for Senior Level Nonprofit Managers and Directors at CompassPoint. Marco has also completed coursework at the Harlem Children's Zone The Practitioners Institute.

Their manager is Brenda Storey, Executive Director. Marco Montenegro works with Janet Lee - Director of Optometry, Lola Trovao - Chief Human Resources Officer, and Sade Salako - Chief Financial Officer.
