Carrie Brown-Schmidt has held various financial and managerial roles throughout their career. Carrie most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mission Restaurant Supply since 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Grunt Style from 2020 to 2021. Carrie also worked as the Vice President Finance & Supply Chain at Backcountry from 2019 to 2020 and as the Vice President Finance at REI in 2018. Carrie's extensive experience in finance and leadership includes roles at Kohl's Department Stores from 2008 to 2018, where they held positions such as Vice President Technology, Vice President Finance, Director Finance, and Manager Internal Audit. Before that, they worked at Grant Thornton, LLP as a Manager and Senior Associate from 2005 to 2008. Carrie began their career at Oshkosh Truck as a Senior Internal Control Specialist from 2004 to 2005 and at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as an Internal Auditor from 2000 to 2004.
Carrie Brown-Schmidt attended the Lubar College of Business from 1996 to 2000. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting.

Mission Restaurant Supply is a family owned and operated foodservice dealer headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Since opening in March 1988, our company has grown to include showroom locations in Austin, Corpus Christi, McAllen, and Fort Worth, with a wholesale refrigeration department in Houston, Texas. We work with hotels, restaurants, catering companies, hospitals, schools and many other institutions on all foodservice needs, from concept design to kitchen layout, installation, and service. We’re proud to offer all of this in house, plus custom metal fabrication and full-service leasing.
