Matthew Maclaren has extensive experience in sport and community development, currently serving as the Manager of Sport & Community Development for the City of Mississauga since October 2018. Previous roles include Manager of Sport Development & Customer Service Centre, and Supervisor of Sport Leagues & Tournaments at the same organization. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Facility General Manager at Canlan Ice Sports and served as Assistant Manager of Recreation at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. Matthew's career began at Oakville Soccer Club, where positions included Supervisor of Sports Operations and Scheduling and Operations Coordinator. Additional experience includes internships in community relations and game day operations with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and Brampton Battalion, respectively. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Sport Management from Brock University.
