Matthew Sweet

Matthew Sweet is a seasoned professional in the field of transportation, currently serving as a Sessional Instructor at Sheridan College for the "Urban Mobility and Wayfinding" course within the Urban Design program. With extensive experience in active transportation roles, Matthew has held significant positions, including Manager and Active Transportation Coordinator at the City of Mississauga since December 2016, and Transportation Demand Management Coordinator for the City of Cambridge Ontario from September 2014 to November 2016. Additional experience includes teaching at Mohawk College, providing consulting services through Matthew Sweet Consulting, and various leadership roles in transportation initiatives across several municipalities, including the City of Hamilton and Green Venture. Matthew holds an Advanced Diploma in Transportation Engineering Technology from Mohawk College and an Honours B.A. in Sociology from McMaster University.
