Andrew Muchin is a seasoned professional in Jewish music and history, currently serving as the Associate Director of the Jewish Music Festival in Berkeley, CA since January 2013. With a diverse background as a Personal and Institutional Historian since April 2012, Andrew Muchin assists individuals and organizations in researching and documenting their histories. Additionally, Andrew Muchin has been the host and producer of the Sounds Jewish radio program since September 2010, showcasing a wide array of Jewish music and comedy. A freelance writer and editor since 1997, Andrew Muchin has also held significant roles such as Director of Programming at the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute, Director of the Wisconsin Small Jewish Communities History Project, and Editor at various Jewish publications. Andrew Muchin holds a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 1980.
