Brian S. Locke is an accomplished law enforcement and military professional with extensive experience in leadership and operational management. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief of Police and Director of Veteran and Military Affairs at Mississippi State University since June 2013, Locke has also held the position of Professor of Military Science, overseeing an Army ROTC program with significant growth. Previously, Locke served as Captain in the Starkville Police Department and held various leadership roles in the U.S. Army, including Deputy Director at the U.S. Army Joint Test Element and Executive Officer for the 40th Military Police Battalion. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a BS in Criminal Justice, Locke furthered education at LIU Post and the FBI National Academy, enhancing expertise in counseling and development.
