Lucy Valeski

Lucy Valeski is an aspiring journalist with a diverse range of experience in reporting and editorial roles. Currently serving as a City/County Government Reporter for Columbia Missourian and a Reporter for Missouri Business Alert, Valeski also contributes as a Journalism Ambassador for the Missouri School of Journalism. Previous experience includes a Reporting Fellowship with Michigan Advance, an Editorial Internship at MLex Market Insight focusing on digital privacy and regulatory risk in the tech sector, and roles as a Contributing Writer for Vox Magazine and MOVE Editor for The Maneater. Valeski is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia, expected to graduate in May 2025.
