Alyssa Wiles currently serves as the Director of Medicaid and FRA at Missouri Hospital Association since January 2023. Prior to this role, Wiles was the Budget Director at Missouri Department of Agriculture from January 2022 to January 2023 and worked as the Fiscal Liaison for the Missouri Department of Social Services, Children’s Division from February 2021 to December 2021. Wiles gained experience as a Budget Analyst at Missouri Senate between March 2018 and February 2021, and as Designated Principal Assistant to the General Counsel at Missouri Public Service Commission from March 2017 to March 2018. Additionally, Wiles held positions as a Legal Assistant at both Cotton Walker and Associates and The Law Office of Evans Crow Halcomb, along with experience as a Receptionist at FCS Financial and a Business Banking Assistant intern at Central Bank. Wiles holds a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Lincoln University.

Since its creation in 1922, MHA has grown from 50 to more than 150 member hospitals. As a not-for-profit membership association, MHA represents every acute care hospital in the state, as well as most of the federal and state hospitals and rehabilitation and psychiatric care facilities. Just as our member hospitals have broadened their scope to embrace the continuum of health care services, MHA also has expanded its services to members throughout its history. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its members, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public and the media, as well as legislative representatives, about health care issues.
