Scott Smith

Scott Smith is a dedicated legal professional with a comprehensive background in education and law. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney for the Missouri State Teachers Association since August 2014, Scott has previously held positions such as Law Clerk at Harper, Evans, Wade and Netemeyer, and legal intern roles at both the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Missouri State Teachers Association. Additional experience includes writing curriculum for The Missouri Bar, assisting at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, and completing an internship with Saint Louis County Municipal Court. An alumnus of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Scott earned a Juris Doctor degree alongside Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Secondary Education.
