Andy Carter

Andy Carter is the current Director of Athletics at Missouri Western State University. Andy has held this position since August 2016. Prior to that, they were the Director of Athletics at Minot State University from August 2016 to May 2022. Before that, they were the Director of Athletics at Northwestern Oklahoma State University from June 2011 to July 2016.

Carter began their career in athletics administration as the Director of Athletics at Armstrong Atlantic State University from June 2009 to February 2011. Andy then served as the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics at Newberry College from August 2002 to June 2009. Andy began their administrative career at Missouri Baptist University as the Director of Athletics from July 1990 to August 2002.

Andy Carter has a Master's in Business Administration from Lindenwood University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Missouri Baptist University.

They work with Marc Archambault - VP, University Advancement & Executive Director, MWSU Foundation, Becky Dunn - Chief Communications Officer, and Kelli Douglas - General Counsel. Their manager is Elizabeth Kennedy, President.
