Julio C Romero

Julio C Romero is an experienced professional in non-destructive testing and inspection, currently self-employed since February 2025. Previously, Julio has been with MISTRAS Group, Inc. since May 2016, holding the position of ASNT Level III / GUL Level 2AA, specializing in advanced testing methods including AUT, TOFD, and Phased Array, alongside various certifications such as API QUTE and QUPA. Prior roles include ASNT Level III / GUL I / API QUTE at QualSpec from November 2011 to May 2016, and Advanced Services Technician at Acuren from May 2008 to November 2011, where Julio enhanced skills in advanced UT services. Julio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from UCLA (2003-2005) and an Associate of Science in Marine Technology from the College of Oceaneering (1995-1996).
