Charles Tuer

Charles Tuer is an experienced firmware and embedded systems engineer with a robust background in developing and improving technology solutions. Currently, Charles serves as a Firmware Engineer Contractor at MistyWest, following a tenure as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Intelligent Haptronic Solutions, where contributions included developing a surgical training device with real-time haptic feedback. Prior experience spans roles at Sierra Wireless, focusing on firmware enhancements for IoT Cellular Modules, and Miru Smart Technologies, where Charles led efforts in embedded hardware for window controllers. Early career experience includes an internship at SWITCH Materials, contributing to Bluetooth-enabled control module designs, and a research assistantship at The University of British Columbia, examining material viability for phosphate cements.
