Ian M.

Ian M. has a strong background in sales and management. Ian is currently working at MISUMI USA as the Senior Director of Sales, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Sales from January 2021 to April 2022 and as the Director of Sales - Automotive from August 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining MISUMI USA, Ian held various positions at Ohashi Technica Group. Ian served as the Managing Director at OHASHI TECHNICA UK, LTD. from March 2015 to August 2018, where they were responsible for the strategy, business development, and expansion of the group in Europe. Ian managed 2 locations with 30 staff and sales of GBP13.5 Million.

Ian also worked at Ohashi Technica USA, Inc. as the Senior Manager of Sales & Logistics from January 2010 to February 2015, and at Ohashi Technica Inc. as a Sales Manager from August 2008 to January 2010.

Additionally, Ian has experience as the Managing Director at Ohashi Technica Finland Oy from April 2005 to August 2008. In this role, they established a front line R&D and customer support/sales office in Finland and managed supply chains from production in China to JIT delivery of finished assemblies.

Furthermore, Ian has contributed to the growth of Ohashi Technica by establishing the company's subsidiary in the UK as the General Manager from February 2000 to March 2005. Ian developed over 50 customers, leading to profitability in the second year of operation and annual sales of over GBP10 Million.

Ian's early experience includes serving as the International Division Leader at Ohashi Technica, Inc. from August 1998 to February 2000 and as the Director at Sendai Ikuei Gakuen from July 1992 to July 1998.

Ian M. attended the University of Victoria from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Marine Biology and Genetics.
