Caroline Konrad

Caroline Konrad has extensive experience in various leadership roles. Caroline currently serves as the Director of Academic Partnerships at Mitacs since February 2022. Previously, they worked at Toronto Metropolitan University as the Director of the Career & Co-op Centre from March 2018 to January 2022.

Caroline also served as a Member of the Board at CACEE: Canadian Association of Career Educators & Employers from June 2016 to November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Ryerson University as the Director of the Career Centre from May 2014 to March 2018.

Earlier in their career, Caroline held multiple roles at the University of Southampton, including Assistant Director of Student Services & Head of Careers and Head of Employer Engagement, from 2009 to 2014. Caroline also worked as an Associate at Brunswick Group from 2006 to 2009 and as a Political & Media Adviser at the European Parliament from 2004 to 2006.

Caroline started their career as a Brussels Media Correspondent as a freelance journalist and editor and also worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs from 2001 to 2002.

Caroline Konrad holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto - University College. Caroline also has a Master's degree in Political Science from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI). Prior to their higher education, they attended North Toronto Collegiate Institute.
