Ridha Ben Mrad

Ridha Ben Mrad has worked as the Chief Research Officer and Scientific Director at Mitacs Inc. since January 2016. Prior to that, they were the President and Chief Technology Officer at Sheba Microsystems Inc. starting from November 2015. Ridha also has a long-standing experience as a Professor at the University of Toronto, where they started working in July 1997.

Ridha Ben Mrad completed a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University from 1982 to 1986. Ridha then pursued an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan from 1986 to 1988. Following that, they obtained an MEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan as well, from 1988 to 1991. Finally, they earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, completing their studies in 1994.
