Mark Bravin has extensive experience in the legal field, specializing in international disputes and arbitration. Mark is currently a Partner and the Head of International Disputes Practice at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, where they are involved in defending the Government of India against a petition to enforce a foreign arbitral award on public policy grounds. This award requires the government to reinstate a contract with a foreign oil company and pay a large sum annually until it does so.

In addition to their role at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, Mark Bravin has also held positions at Georgetown University Law Center, where they served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Investor-State Dispute Resolution, and at Winston & Strawn LLP, where they were the Global Co-chair of the International Arbitration Practice. While at Winston & Strawn LLP, they represented Ecuador in a challenge to recognition and enforcement against Chevron Corp.

Prior to these positions, Mark Bravin was a Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and an Associate at Wald, Harkrader & Ross. Mark also gained experience working in government as an Aide to Charles Percy in the U.S. Senate's Committee on Government Affairs.

Mark Bravin has an extensive education history, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Problem-solving, Planning, and Systems Analysis from UCLA, which they obtained from 1969 to 1973. Following this, they pursued further education at the Harvard Kennedy School, where they completed a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from 1973 to 1978. During the same period, from 1975 to 1978, they also studied at Harvard Law School and earned a Juris Doctor degree.
