Adj. Prof. Dimitrios Tsoukas, M.D., M.Sc, is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports and regenerative medicine, currently serving as the Director of the Orthopaedic Clinic for Advanced Arthroscopic Sports & Regenerative Surgery at Mitera Hospital and as the 2nd Vice President of the IARMES International Regenerative Medicine Experts Society. With extensive experience founded in 2006 as the Director of the Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgery Center MIOSMED, Tsoukas has held various roles in multiple hospitals including Hygeia Hospital and Apollonion Private Hospital. Additionally, Tsoukas is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology and the International Cartilage Repair Society, contributing significantly to the fields of sports injuries and regenerative medicine, while maintaining a consultancy role at Medsana Bucharest Medical Center. Tsoukas completed medical education at the University of Athens and pursued further studies in health services management, with ongoing education at European University Cyprus.
