Shevan Goonetilleke

Shevan Goonetilleke started their career as a Systems Engineer at DMS Software Technologies in 1998. Shevan then worked at Virtusa, where they held various roles such as Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Programme Manager/Client Services Manager. In 2006, they joined BT as a Programme Manager and later moved to Deutsche Telekom as a Senior Manager - Digital Media. In 2010, they became a General Council Member at SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies). Shevan then joined WSO2 and held positions such as Director of Engineering, Senior Director - Engineering, Vice President - Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and President and Global COO. In 2018, they returned to SLASSCOM as a Director, where they also served as Director Finance and Director Operations. Currently, Shevan is the CEO of MillenniumIT ESP, a position they assumed in 2020.

Shevan Goonetilleke has an MBA (Distinction) from The University of Sheffield. Shevan also holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Shevan'searlier education was completed at St. Joseph's College, Colombo, but the specifics of their degree or field of study are not provided.
