Tharaka Patabendige

Tharaka Patabendige has diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Tharaka most recently worked as the Director of Revenue Operations at MillenniumIT ESP since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance at Mahindra Ideal Lanka (Pvt) Ltd from May 2019 to February 2023. Tharaka has also worked as a Finance Manager at Delmege Forsyth & Co. Ltd from February 2017 to April 2019, as a Manager for Process Development & Control at Regency Garments Limited from February 2016 to January 2017, and as a Group Finance Manager at Cellcity Lanka (Pvt) Ltd from January 2013 to January 2016. Moreover, they worked as an Accountant at LB Finance PLC from October 2011 to December 2012 and started their career as a Senior Accountant at EY from July 2008 to October 2011.

Tharaka Patabendige completed their education in a chronological order. Tharaka first attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained an Associate Membership in Accounting and Finance. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 2005 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Lastly, Tharaka Patabendige pursued further education at the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) from 2010 to 2011, where they became an Associate Member in Management Accounting.
