Tea Tuominen

Tea Tuominen, CFA has a diverse work experience in finance and consulting roles. Since 2013, Tea has worked as a Strategic Finance Consultant and Fractional CFO, providing interim CFO services, capital raising, financial planning and analysis, strategic investments, and growth strategies for startups and companies across the United States, Europe, and sub-Saharan Africa. Tea has specialized in telecom, FinTech, and SaaS industries. Tea has also served as a CFO Consultant for various companies including Zero Infinity One and OkHi Smart Addressing. Tea was the CFO and Co-founder of ExtraVallis from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, Tea has experience as an Investment Manager at Jacana Partners and as an ocean racer at Clipper Ventures. Currently, Tea holds the position of Fractional CFO at Miti Ventures, where they are focused on an emerging markets FinTech platform. In 2023, Tea briefly served as Deputy CFO at Jetstream Africa.

Tea Tuominen, CFA obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics from the University of Helsinki in 1999. Later on, they completed the Advanced Management Program at the London Business School in 2007. In 2015, they obtained the CFA certification from the CFA Institute.
