Agnieszka Janik

Agnieszka Janik is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Mitie since February 2022, Agnieszka has held influential HR roles at British Gas from April 2017 to February 2022, including HR Director and Head of HR. Previous positions also include Senior HR Business Partner at Vodafone Business, Head of HR for UK Retail Banking and EMEA HR Business Partner at HSBC, and HR Business Partner at Direct Line Group. Early in the career, Agnieszka worked at Tata Steel Europe as an Employee Relations Business Partner and began as a Human Resources Graduate. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Employment Law from the University of Wales, Cardiff, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Business from Aston University, and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Warmia & Mazury, Poland, complemented by studies in American and Chinese studies at the University of Turku.
