Chirranjeevi Gopal

Chirranjeevi Gopal has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Chirranjeevi is currently working at Mitra Chem, where they are a Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, responsible for product development. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Mitra Chem.

Before joining Mitra Chem, Chirranjeevi worked at Toyota Research Institute as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist. Chirranjeevi then moved on to Illumina, where they held the positions of Senior Engineer and Scientist 2.

Chirranjeevi's early career includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University. Chirranjeevi obtained their Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the California Institute of Technology, where they conducted research in their field of expertise. Chirranjeevi also holds a B.Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

During their academic journey, Chirranjeevi gained industry experience through an internship at Reliance.

Chirranjeevi Gopal completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2005 to 2009. Chirranjeevi then pursued their higher education at Caltech, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science from 2009 to 2011. Chirranjeevi Gopal continued their studies at Caltech and was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science and Applied Physics from 2009 to 2014.
