Software Engineer 3 In Test (automation)

As a part of our latest transformation, we are searching for an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our rapidly growing Bangalore Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality is at the heart of engineering practices, with a bias towards test and tooling automation. Additional responsibilities include reviewing functional and technical requirements, performing research, designing solutions, and developing QA solutions for web-based and desktop enterprise applications. Automated testing experience is a requirement for this role. Candidates lacking automated testing experience will not be considered.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and foster an automation first approach for your scrum team(s)
• Utilizing latest versions of our technology stack and be encouraged to think creatively to produce high quality, reusable and maintainable automated testing solutions
• To work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum team(s) to help deliver high quality Automated scripts inside of agreed timescales
• Maintain already automated test cases and adding automate new test cases.
• Whenever required contribute to functional testing.
• Provide technical mentorship and upskilling to scrum team members and across functional boundaries
• Contributing to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of extensive automation testing experience using Selenium and Java
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium & TestNG.
• Good experience with Java, Jenkins, TFS or any other source control management tool
• Experience in Test Cases Management Systems like Azure Test Plans
• Proficiency in authoring, reviewing, and executing Automated test cases
• Good knowledge on Cloud Platforms Development (Azure).
• Good knowledge in SQL and relational database concepts, Azure SQL
• Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices using Jenkins.
• Experience with Modern source control systems (Git, TFVC)
• Experience in working with a team of 3-5 Test Automation Engineers
