Adam Carlson has a diverse work experience. Adam started as a Manager at Big 5 Sporting Goods in 2005 before moving to Renaissance ClubSport as a Membership Account Manager. In 2008, they became an Account Executive at EVERFI which acquired LawRoom/CampusClarity. At LawRoom, their role was also an Account Executive. In 2017, Adam joined Workplace Training Network, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales, and later also worked at Impact Compliance Training as a Vice President of Sales and Senior Account Executive. Adam's most recent role is as the Director of Channel Partnerships at Syntrio, which was acquired by Mitratech in 2024.

Adam Carlson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operation, Marketing, and Recreation Management from California State University, Chico, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to attending college, Adam went to Mission San Jose High School. In addition to their educational background, Adam has obtained various certifications related to affirmative action, diversity, equity, inclusion, unconscious bias, human trafficking, workplace diversity, and harassment and discrimination prevention.
