Jennifer Henius, LCSW, serves as the Principal Clinical Science Advisor at MITRE since July 2021 and the Chief Well-being Officer at Caregiver Whole Health™, a role undertaken in September 2023. With a focus on empowering caregivers through comprehensive support tailored to their mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs, Jennifer aims to promote sustainable caregiving and healthy aging. Additionally, Jennifer is the founder of Yoga4Caregivers, which fosters connection and empowerment for caregivers, and holds the position of Expert Content Reviewer at Caregiving.com, along with co-founding the LGBTQ Caregiver Center. Previously, Jennifer contributed to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Senior Health Systems Specialist, overseeing substantial healthcare budgets and operations, and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida, teaching a course on Happiness and Well-being. Jennifer's academic background includes a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's degree from Eckerd College.
