Ben Harris

Ben Harris has a strong background in the chemical and acrylic industry. Ben is currently serving as the Director of Strategic Projects and Technology at Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Chairman at Thai Poly Acrylic PLC from 2018 to April 2023. Ben also served as the Executive General Manager at Saudi Methacrylates Company from September 2016 to April 2021 and as the General Manager at Lucite International Singapore Limited from October 2013 to September 2016. Ben started their career at Lucite International in 2005 as an R&D Manager, where they worked until October 2013.

Ben Harris earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Canterbury in 1986, with a focus on Chemical and Process Engineering. Ben then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, completing it in 1992.
